Hi! I’m Maegan, the photographer behind MaegShotIt. I started photography in high school in 2023, and ever since then, I’ve loved being able to capture real moments and turn them into memories people can always look back on. What started as a hobby quickly turned into something I love and find new ways to be creative with every day.

I’m currently based on the campus of Jackson State University, where I serve as a lead photographer for Jackson State Football Media. Along with photography, I also create social media content for the football team, helping grow the program’s online presence to over 224K followers on Instagram and 100K+ followers on Twitter. I’ve served through over two football seasons, capturing everything from game day energy to behind-the-scenes moments that tell the story beyond the field.

I love experimenting with different styles, angles, and ideas to make every shoot feel unique and personal. Whether it’s portraits, events, creative shoots, or content creation, I’m passionate about bringing visions to life and capturing moments in a way that feels real, creative, and meaningful.
